It was just a little tricky getting into the parking lot following the map; we could have gone straight through the light, but it guided us in a second entrance. I wish there were some more handicapped parking spaces near the front door, but there were some on the sides. The rooms were very nice, the showers refreshing and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were here for a conference and they eye very attentive to all of our needs. The lunch was a simple brown bag sandwich, but that could have been what was selected by our group. We will definitely be back and I would not hesitate using this location for a future event.
I'm giving this hotel 5 stars mostly because of the staff! They were so friendly and helpful. Ricky at the front desk this morning was an absolute joy and I loved talking with Raq (the bartender). I found that he was very knowledgeable about all the local craft beers on tap. I also recommend the truffle fries, they were delicious!
The hotel is quite mediocre. The rooms are okay, the air conditioning is so noisy that it was hard to get a single good night's sleep. The coffee tea supplies are not replenished unless you ask. I was travelling from India and had a lot of luggage with me - the staff didn't even ask or offer to help with the Luggage on the day I checked in; not just that, the lady at the reception was quite cold and unwelcoming. Coming from Asia, this lack of service and hospitality was appalling to me. The staff on the day of checkout was different and they helped me out when I asked them, plus were very cheerful. The restaurant had good and kind staff who accommodated our requests. Only one elevator was working through the duration of my 4 day stay. I don't think I would ever want to stay in this hotel again.
I enjoyed Veronica in the lounge. She was so nice to us on the first night. I wish she was the only one I met. The staff made me feel so bad. There were bugs (sugar ants) in the room. I left after one night. Stay away. The worst Marriott property I have been to.
I stayed one night on a business trip. The hotel looks great from outside but the amenities inside were sub-standard. The water from the shower was too hot and the adjustment knob wasn't working. Also the toilet bowl was not properly attached to the floor. The front desk charged extra for room upgrade although I was told it was complimentary. I had to call the hotel and they apologized, and issued a refund. Overall, not a great experience for a reputed chain of hotels like Sheraton!
