3 months agoSlogan: Authentic Goodness My wife and I stopped in on Sunday to have dinner at Zeera. We were greeted by Ash, and our server was Tristen. The food here is nothing short of phenomenal! We had Samosas which came with a flight of sauces which was an excellent pairing. I ordered the Butter Chicken (spice-level, Indian Hot) and it was the perfect balance of spice with a slight sweetness. The value for what you receive doesn't make you feel like you could have done better at home. Parking is plentiful and the atmosphere strikes a balance in that there's people there, but you can still focus on having a conversation with family and not feel like everyone is listening in. Oh! We got two different naans: Cheese Naan and Bullet Naan. Both were delicious! So, did their slogan meet expectation? Absolutely. We'll be coming back.

3 months agoMy husband and I stopped into Zeera this past Sunday, eager to try some local Indian fare just five minutes from home, and every part of our experience was outstanding. As a lifelong Easterner who spent decades in Washington, D.C., I’ve been spoiled with access to all kinds of authentic cuisines, North and South Indian included. Even with that background, Zeera absolutely holds its own. You can taste the care and thought that’s gone into crafting a menu that caters beautifully to every palate and spice tolerance. Ash was a delight, checking in often with genuine warmth, and our server, Tristen, completely charmed us. His eyes lit up when we shared our love of high heat; it’s such a treat to meet someone who takes as much pleasure in spice as we do. And as such, he was able to tell the kitchen to give us the "works". Lastly, we were a bit surprised when we saw our bill, as it was more than worth the price point for the care and the experience. This is an establishment that we can afford to visit for more than just the special occasion, though I think Zeera can fit the bill for those special outings as well. If you’re craving a little taste of India right here in Fuquay, do yourself a favor and give Zeera a visit. It’s a gem worth savoring.

3 months agoGreat food, good service. The space is simple but comfortable. Had chicken tandoori which was very good! I do want to point out that it felt like there was just one waiter covering the whole room, including cleaning tables. We had to flag him down to order and pay. It was a bit surprising since there seemed to be other staff around who could have helped. Overall, though, the food made it worth it.

a month agoIt’s been a few years since we have been here and decided to do takeout. Service was great but unfortunately that’s where it ended. Part of our order was missing and the food had zero zero zero flavor. My order was extra hot and had zero zero zero no spice to it. It was so bad that I ended up recooking the sauce adding some seasoning and spice to make it edible.
