a month agoI stayed at this hotel for three nights in February 2026. Overall, I found it to be a really enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly, the price was reasonable, and the hotel itself provided for a great rest. The rooms are a bit small and it's weird that they don't have desks, but the beds are comfortable and everything was in great condition. The location is very convenient and has plenty of parking. The concierge lounge was definitely the highlight of my stay. Jim and Troy were great! I would definitely stay here again.

2 months agoRooms were just okay. Towels smelled of mildew. Front desk service staff didn't make eye contact or talk to me at all when I walked in and stood waiting to check in, even though nobody else was there in line or at the desk besides me. Very pretty surrounding area. Convenient to a great mall, dining and to office. Best breakfast and service I've had at a hotel in a very long time. Super friendly wait staff. Lobby was bright, nice atmosphere.

a month agoWe have been coming here for almost 15-20 years. I am sorry to see this location to slowly go down in quality. The rooms in the past 3-4 years have been run down and old faced. The elevators are super slow and crowded. In our last room (402) we had a lot of complaints. All the usb charging ports were inoperable, even the power plugs were sooo loose from old age and use, our chargers wouldn’t even stay in the plug. The water pressure is so low, taking a shower took forever. The clientele reflected the downward spiral of this branch. Also, they only had 2 carts to move the luggage up and down the rooms but they were always MIA (See comment around the clientele as to why that may be). Room service was good. Location is definitely central. We were shocked to see some encampments and homeless presence up Glenwood around Pleasant Valley area. It is definitely changed over the years. We will look for an alternative accommodation next time we are in town. Thank you Raleigh Marriott Crabtree for all these years, but it’s time to move on.

2 months agoI love staying at this hotel brand bc the rooms and service are always exceptional. On this occasion, not so much. My stay at the hotel was work related due to the snow storm(1/24-1/26). I expected a restful stay but each time the air came on it sounded as if someone was breaking in through the air register. EVERY TIME!!! In a nutshell, I didn’t sleep well. The next morning, I left for work and there wasn’t any salt on the ground nor had anyone shoveled a safe path out of the hotel to the parking lot. I had to chance falling and breaking something in order to leave for work. When I returned that afternoon, the parking lot was still untouched. I expected better being that this is a fine establishment. Pluses: your staff-attentive and friendly, the food bar-fresh and well tended, and the rooms were cozy and spacious.

2 months agoWithout a doubt--the best hotel in Raleigh. The people are ON IT. Very attentive. Extremely clean. Bartenders ON POINT. Food was exceptional. Fresh Pork Rinds! M Club folks (Tim) all over it. Safe parking. The list goes ON and ON.
