a week agoNice intimate restaurant! Didn’t have to wait long after reservation (9 pm) sat at 9:05. Food was delicious! We had the mango chickpea appetizer! AMAZING!! Drinks was good but could fill the glass a lil more lol. Good Service Good Food Great Prices $! … will definitely come back !

in the last weekBy far the best Indian food in S. Charlotte. My family and I eat here nearly weekly and its always a delight. I can honestly say theres nothing I've eaten here and didn't like! The food is high quality and really some of the best food we've eaten in town (of any food genre)

2 months agoWe love coming here because the service is always fantastic and the food is out of this world. Tonight was no exception. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated quickly. Our server Kuldip took exceptional care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. Everything on the menu is delicious. We started with the sesame chili cauliflower appetizer and then enjoyed chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and raita. We happily stuffed our faces. I recommend Blue Taj for the great location, excellent service, and wonderful food. If you want quality Indian cuisine, look no further.

2 months agoI placed a rather large order for takeout yesterday. The online ordering process was so simple. I added all of the dishes, indicated the spice level, which I was a little nervous about because I was ordering for kids too, and scheduled the pickup for a specific time. When I went to the restaurant, the food was all packaged perfectly and ready to go by the door for me -- much appreciated! Everything was DELICIOUS and I am already looking forward to going back again soon. Highly recommend!

a year agoThe food was very delicious. We were a mixed bunch of Vegan/veg and non vegetarians. All of us enjoyed the food. The dal makhni, leek kofta (different texture from usual ones), and mango chana chaat were very good. The service wasn't very good. They are probably understaffed. The place is very hot and can do with better air conditioning and ventilation. Half the tables need an upgrade
