Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley

My partner and I took a weekend trip to Raleigh. We wanted to splurge and get a nicer hotel. Upon arrival we were immediately disappointed. First with check in. It was late, we had driven a very long way and we were exhausted, but we were greeted with annoyance from the man at the front desk. He made us sit there and wait for him to finish paperwork for literally 10 minutes. Then finally he was so passive aggressive while checking us in like it was so inconvenient. Then we were surprised how small the room was, although very cute. The entire stay there was a horrible sewage smell in the room that would not go away. When booking, we upgraded to concierge for the upgraded amenities, only to find out upon arrival that the concierge lounge was closed on the weekends, which was not made known before booking. The pool was our main reason for staying here and it was nice but there were only 6 lounge chairs which fills up very fast and the pictures were misleading. The location was great but this hotel was the same quality of most good priced ones, and janky in some ways. Not worth the price and we were very disappointed.

My room was visibly dirty from the mattress, sofa, and carpet. Dust everywhere. You can tell they didn't vacuum or dust properly. Property and the outdoor pool are across from abandoned boarded up apartments. It's an eye sore for the price. Will not be coming back here. The doors in the bedroom are so loud they wake you up from your sleep. Spanish female bartender was great! Very attentive. Breakfast service was terrible. Waited over an hr for a basic breakfast. People around us kept leaving because no waiter ever took their order. After an hr, our waitress Erica never put our order in and said she would comp our meal, but we already had free breakfast vouchers for the room being so dirty. These people should not have breakfast service. It was not very busy either. Update: Food came out 1 hr 30 min later and both orders were incorrect. Waitress never asked how was the food.

Their support was invaluable in helping us set up and serve the food smoothly, contributing significantly to the overall success of the reception. They were always on hand to address any last-minute needs and worked collaboratively with our team to ensure that everything ran according to plan. The Marriott Crabtree Valley's commitment to providing a first-class experience was evident not only in their staff's professionalism but also in the quality of their venue. Many guests commented on the venue's ambiance and the seamless coordination, which speaks volumes about the venue's capabilities and attention to detail. I drive trucks for a living and booked a room here. My load hot held ⬆️ so I canceled my reservation; however the Marriott will not refund me my money back. I spoke with Jennifer who stated they sold my room and will not refund me my money back. Horrible service and will never book a room here ever again.

One of the best Marriott locations... I travel quite a bit for work. Great service from the desk to the concierge lounge. Location has plenty of parking and the mall is across the street with tons of variety to eat or shop. Employees are top notch with great management. Room are super clean and quiet.
