a month agoMy stay came with an unexpected discovery: the property quietly accommodates certain three-letter federal teams, whose presence is hard to miss despite never being formally acknowledged. The environment felt less like a hotel and more like a logistical hub, which is not what most travelers anticipate. While businesses are free to choose their partnerships, consumers are equally free to decide where their dollars go. I choose not to spend money with companies that support operations of this nature, especially when transparency is lacking. Guests deserve to know who they’re sharing the space with.

2 months agoThe rooms are great and the staff helpful. They have sustainability practices in place. They only wash your towels if they are on the floor to conserve water and electricity (because that costs money). But they have no aluminum recycling! It’s disappointing that there is so little regard for conserving aluminum. Precious aluminum going into the landfill.

5 months agoMy stay here was slightly above average. To be honest, I was expecting a slightly better experience from one of Marriott’s more premium brands. For context I have stayed at almost all of Marriott’s brands from high end luxury, to their select brands. I am also a titanium elite member. The hotel itself is in a convenient location, but is outdated. The lobby area is nice, but the rooms and exterior could use a refresh. There were lots of rust spots on the metal finishes in the bathroom. Check-in was smooth, but the front desk worker did not seem like he wanted to be there. He acknowledged my elite status, and gave me a breakfast voucher as the concierge lounge is closed on the weekends. I was not offered a room upgrade, which was to be expected as this hotel is not a luxury brand and I booked through a third party. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and quite honestly, the best part of my stay. I had the pulled pork omelette. Our waiter, Wilson, was great. He was extremely polite and friendly. He is the only reason I am giving four stars overall instead of three. The Marriott website says parking is $10 a night, however, I was not charged for parking during my stay.

4 months agoIn need of maintenance! I stayed three nights and every morning maintenance had to return to my room to repair the toilet because it had no water after flushing, the shower would not go to cool water… only warm water, the parking area is down a steep hill from the hotel entrance. My room’s refrigerator made popping noises all night long. I’m not saying I wouldn’t stay here again, it just will not be my go to when in the city.

4 months agoIt wasn't the best experience. The coffee pot didn't work so they brought a second one, a barn door on the bathroom. We could hear everything each other was doing in the bath because of it. Only one closet door on a two closet door opening. Large comfortable bed. Nice TV. Pool water was too cold to swim in.
