Lavender Oaks Farm

We hosted my daughter’s wedding at lavender oaks farm last weekend, the venue us gorgeous and all Our guest lived it inside and out! It’s was PERFECT!! Karen and her staff were Fabulous!! From my very first phone call I knew we were booking the perfect venue, every vendor Karen sent our way was so easy to work with! Thank you for being a part of making the wedding so beautiful and enjoyable and most of all stress free!! It was an. Amazing Experience!

A seriously stunning wedding venue with the best owner and event team! Karen and her staff make sure your wedding/event goes on without a hitch, and they offer so many great services + guidance throughout your wedding planning experience. The barn is spacious with so many beautiful spots for photos inside and out. The patio has a beautiful fireplace which is great for cocktail hour, late night hangs during the reception, or as your ceremony backdrop (my favorite!). This is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues to photograph at! It’s a joy any time I’m able to be at Lavender Oaks Farm!

My partner and I just had our wedding at Lavender Oaks Farm last week, and truthfully I do not have enough words to describe how amazing, incredible, and beautiful this place is and will stay in our hearts forever. When we were touring wedding venues, we fell in love with not only the space but also how much was included in booking with Lavender Oaks. As someone who is very indecisive, does not have enough time to plan a wedding due to working in healthcare, and is personally not that creative... Lavender Oaks created all all of our graphics (i.e. wedding signage, save the dates/invitations, etc. ), made our centerpieces, made the bouquets for all my bridal party, set up a flawless timeline, connected us with incredible vendors, and went above and beyond with helping to create personal touches for all our guests. We booked the venue about a year in advance, and we had multiple meetings/calls with Karen leading up to the wedding. Now to the wedding day, I personally never felt rushed and everyone just gave me incredible compliments on how smoothly everything was from start to finish. I have many family members from the northeast area, who always like to find something to critique and they had no critiques from our wedding. On the contrary, everyone said it was one of the best weddings they've been too and I could not have been more happy. On top of that, this day was very emotional for my partner and I as we both had mothers who have passed and Karen made sure that we were able to honor them in the best way possible throughout the day. It was truly the most magical day of our lives, and one that my now husband will never forget. Thank you Karen and her team for truly making this day so wonderful for Michael and I. I couldn't be more thankful for choosing Lavender Oaks Farm to be a part of our special day.

As a wedding photographer and the owner of Timmester Photography, I absolutely adore this venue. The second you step on to the property, you feel a sense of serenity and calm. It is such a picturesque location with a historic barn, that is reminiscent of a European chateau, and 60 acres of lavender plants, a pond, open fields, and a forest! Every angle is beautiful, and as the owner of Timmester Photography, I love photographing weddings and couples at this location! On top of that, the staff at Lavender Oaks is absolutely lovely. They greet you with so much warmth that you feel like you're being welcomed in to their home for the weekend. They are courteous, professional, experienced and absolutely on top of everything. You will feel well taken care of by the owner, Karen, and her accomplished team. Lavender Oaks is a magical location in Chapel Hill. You will feel like you have discovered a secret oasis just a few minutes outside of town, and you will love every second of your time there. I highly recommend!

We made the best wedding decision by choosing Lavender Oaks Farm as our venue. Our wedding was in October of this year and we’re still on cloud nine! We had planned and booked a wedding abroad but due to events outside our control we had to completely pivot. That’s when we found Karen and Lavender Oaks. She took my wife under her wing and made her feel like everything was going to be ok. She even came up to NYC during the planning process and took us out to lunch. Wedding planning can be overwhelming but Karen is a consummate professional. When you book at her venue, Karen will be your wedding planner and connect with you with the best team of vendors in the Triangle. The venue itself is a styled after a European chateau with lofty ceilings, natural light, and sprawling grounds to walk on. You can choose from a few different ceremony locations including a pavilion barn, fireplace patio, or gazebo. We chose the pavilion barn and it was perfect for our wedding size of 115. Another selling point for Lavender Oaks is that the start and end times on wedding day are flexible. She opens the venue for the bridal party early in the morning and will accommodate your desired end time. We chose to keep our party going till midnight! Karen, thank you for everything!
