a week agoExperienced my first Indian flavors at Saffron Indian Cuisine in Carry, NC, the coziest spot, along with delicious dishes. The food was impeccable! Every dish was delicious, but what elevated the entire experience was the warm and friendly service. The staff are genuinely attentive but not overbearing, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The lamb galouti was rich, juicy, smoky, and perfectly spiced. Dahi Bhalle Chaat was a refreshing burst of flavors and texture. The Chole Bhature was well-cooked: the chole was rich, tangy, and perfectly seasoned, while the bhature was light and golden crispy on the outside. Daal Bukhara was a rich, creamy, and well-balanced dish. However, the Naan was soft and fluffy, not quite like traditional North Indian naan. Moong dal halwa was aromatic and melt-in-the-mouth delicious. I truly enjoyed a good Indian meal in Carry.

3 months agoMy husband and I shared a delicious meal here. We’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants and I thought the Aloo Gobi (potato and cauliflower curry) was the best I’ve ever had. We both ate plenty and there was still extra to bring home. The day we went, most of the other customers were Indian, dressed in native dress and not speaking English. To me that say’s the style and tastes must be quite authentic. We’d enjoy going back again.

3 months agoExcellent food with great hospitality. Tried veg and non veg starters and main course. Unique taste and I can see freshness in the food. Like the hospitality and the service from Manoj while ordering dishes.

2 weeks agoWe found this place by accident, visiting for the Chinese Lantern Festival, and what a happy accident it was! I had the Butter Masala chicken, and my son had the chicken fried rice. The food far exceeded expectations. I can't wait to try something else the next time we're in town.

3 months agoThey have really good food and consistent taste. But the problem is quantity. When you order a biryani or a curry, it's not even sufficient for 1 person to eat fully. Hope they'll work on this.
