Urban Angeethi

We were looking for a good Indian restaurant and this is our new spot! All of the dishes we ordered were loaded with flavor! We highly recommend ordering at least one Malai Kofta, since it gives you variety and it's another sweet dish very similar to Korma that you'll LOVE if you like a good, sweet Korma. For appetizers we got the Leshooni shrimp pepper (which is like a sweet, spicy garlic shrimp almost like thai shrimp but slightly less chili/rich sweetness and more savory and garlicky, WAY more char/carmelized ingredients, extremely delicious with the lemon juice) and the Peri peri chicken which was served with a light, creamy tikka sauce, spicy aoili, green coriander sauce, red onions and lemon juice for both appetizers. Butter chicken is our go-to dish and they make a great butter chicken here which has a very nice balance of tomato and sweet which makes you want to keep putting more of it on garlic naan and rice. But.even if you get completely full you'll have a decent amount of leftovers as the portions are pretty generous. You will probably need more rice for the portions though, so it's best to eat there and they will bring you more rice. Service staff was very friendly, timely and helped us decide on our appetizers.

Amazing environment with super tasty food and excellent service! We both enjoyed it so much, and our kids loved the food as well. They made our wedding anniversary extra special by welcoming us with a lovely chocolate cake, which we absolutely loved. One of the best restaurants in the RTP area. Highly recommend visiting with your family!

Great food and atmosphere! Had a wonderful experience at Urban Angeethi in Raleigh. The food was flavorful and well-presented, with authentic spices and generous portions. The ambience is modern, warm, and perfect for a relaxed lunch. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely a great spot for Indian cuisine — highly recommend!

We spent the day trying to decide where to eat, as we’re always on the lookout for authentic Indian restaurants to try. We came across this place without realizing it would turn out to be such a gem. From the moment we arrived, the experience stood out. This isn’t just a place you visit once—it’s somewhere you keep coming back to. The food is incredibly flavorful, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. What really made the experience special was the service. We were helped by AJ, who was very attentive, knowledgeable, and thoughtful with our order. I have dietary restrictions due to diabetes, and they were able to accommodate my needs by adjusting a dish to reduce sugar (like limiting ketchup), which I truly appreciated. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. And the food—honestly, you just can’t get enough of it. The naan is made fresh in-house, thin, crisp, and packed with flavor. Overall, we felt genuinely welcomed, and this has now become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving Indian cuisine. We love working with Urban Angeethi for wedding catering as well as eating in their restaurant. Their food was delicious, their presentations were gorgeous and their service was top notch. I have a shellfish allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure it was accommodated. We will be back!
