I have stayed here multiple times with my family for many different events that were held at NC State and for many NC State Events. It is a very nice hotel, but I think it has been a while since they first built the hotel, and it could use a reshren and renovation sometime soon because it is slowly becoming outdated. Other than that, no complaints! It is in a great location and they sell Howling Cow ice cream pints, which is a huge plus!

This hotel is beautiful! The lobby has free coffee available until late morning. However, I had to check in at the front desk despite the app indicating that my digital key was ready. Additionally, they didn’t follow the option to opt out of room service, which was a choice during the booking process. The restaurant serves good food, but very limited vegetarian and no vegan options. Despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel’s location is beautiful and staff are friendly and helpful!

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times now. Staff is fantastic and it’s clean. However on our recent stay, the hotel decided to add on parking fee. We feel this is just another opportunity to price gouge and levy add-on fees. I was a fan and loyal guest until now. They’ve lost a loyal guest.

We went for an overnight stay. I went early with the intent to lounge out by the pool and swim before my scheduled event. To my dismay the pool was closed. I was highly disappointed, to put it lightly. I complained and expressed that I was looking forward to swimming and laying out in the area that looked so nice in the advertised pictures. Unfortunately inspector closed pool. Although the start of my stay was disappointing the front desk Ms Kylie was so very nice. She worked to accommodate us with all of our request. Her smile and kind apologies were so appreciated. Honestly all the staff that we encountered were kind and attentive to all the guest wanting poolside relaxation. Zerick and Sincere moved chairs, brought water, cool wet towels for the guest and did all they could to make all the guest comfortable. We suggested to inform guest immediately when pool is closed on your website and front desk. It is summer and this amenity is vital when choosing a hotel. The rooms, and hotel were nice and clean. Food was great. I will be back when in the area.

A Hidden Gem in Raleigh – Premium Experience All Around! The StateView Hotel is a peaceful escape right in the heart of Raleigh and truly one of the city’s best-kept secrets. Located on NC State’s beautiful Centennial Campus, it’s surrounded by lush greenery and a quiet walking trail that leads straight to Lake Raleigh. You get the best of both worlds here: serene nature and the convenience of being just 10 minutes from downtown and all the amazing restaurants Raleigh has to offer. From the moment I walked in, the service was top-tier. Kyla at the front desk checked me in and was absolutely amazing, friendly, professional, and readily available any time I had a question or request. She truly set the tone for a great stay. The entire front office staff delivers premium hospitality that makes you feel valued and welcomed. The outdoor pool area is a standout with stylish seating, a cozy fireplace, and a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for both quiet time and socializing. Whether you’re visiting NC State, traveling for work, or just need a peaceful getaway, the StateView Hotel is a must-stay. I’ll definitely be back!
