Great place for holding events such as conferences, training, workshops, etc. Very professional and friendly staff. High-quality common areas to include meeting rooms, ballroom, and dining area. Very high-quality meals served equivalent to an upscale restaurant with a variety of choices. Nice, comfortable rooms that provided a great nights rest. The only negative is parking is NOT free and is paid via phone QR code.

Let’s start off with the grounds, they’re very nice, hotel and rooms have everything for a nice stay. The bathrooms were great, best shower I have seen at a standard hotel. The “bistro” and bar are where this places loses it for me. It’s nice to have a place like this on location but the kitchen staff and server/bartenders are unskilled at their positions and inattentive. It should take 40 minutes to get the wrong thing when you are the only person there, it also shouldn’t take 10 minutes for a refill and 10 minutes to get silverware for your meal——while at the bar. You can use new staff or better trained staff in the morning and the evening in the bistro and kitchen.

Great stay! Nicely renovated property with awesome balconies, rare in today's newly designed hotels. I want to highlight Jessica and her wonderful hospitality and bright, welcoming demeanor each morning when I came down for breakfast! She was the highlight of my stay!

Our check in process was awful. We arrived after our flight from Seattle had been delayed 4+ hours and after sitting on the tarmac for an hour plus only to be told that our reservation was marked as a no show and had been cancelled. No help was offered we were told we could call a 1-800 number or rebook a new reservation without reimbursement for the previous. When we expressed our frustrations we were told we should have called if we were going to be late and there was nothing they could do at the hotel. Mind you we were in an airport for 12 hours trying to figure out our flight that had been delayed several times with their support teams and to be quite honest we have never heard of a policy that cancels your reservation if you don’t show up by a certain time so we had no idea we “should’ve called”. Again I asked if the front desk could do anything and if not to call a manager or someone that could help. I was told a manger wouldn’t be in for 2 maybe 4 hours and nothing could be done. I expressed that I was very frustrated and would really like to speak to someone local that could help not a random 800 number, the front desk proceeded to radio security to come over in front of my 8 year old daughter. All I wanted was help it was 5am I have an extremely tired 8 year old, my wife and I had been on 800 number calls all day speaking to people that could offer no solutions regarding our flight and I get told sorry you can rebook for more money and have security called.

Good evening Google Family. I visited the Sheraton hotel for a speaking engagement that takes place on Monday, April the 20th. It begins at 10 am. I am so excited because this is my first real speaking engagement. I have spoken at church events and on my videos, but this is my first time speaking on a real time stage. I left home at 1:48 am and I arrived at 9:42 am in Durham, North Carolina and my room was not available because a lot of folks have not checked out yet. I waited patiently and I then decided to go to IHOP to eat a nice breakfast. I had a taste for grits so I ordered grits, turkey bacon and hash brown potatoes. Everything was truly delicious. Then I headed back to the hotel and waited. By this time it was 1 pm. I then headed to the rest room and it was nice and clean. Then I made my way back to the reception area and Xandria, a Sheraton employee told me that no rooms were available yet. So I continued to wait and then I asked if I could make a video about the hotel and Xandria said yes. I started to and I had my tripod and I was about to film when some rooms became available and some of the other speakers started showing up. My room # is 150, on the first floor, I love it!!! I unloaded my car and brought my items in. It felt so good to be here in the room. Then I had to get changed by 4 pm since the speakers were all meeting to go to the studio where we all are going to speak. We were going to rehearse today and take a tour of the studio since we have never been there before. After the studio, we all dined at Maggiano's and ate a hearty meal. Then we all came back to the Sheraton. It was an awesome night. Also the room had a microwave and a nice refrigerator. I had an issue with my bill here and Samantha was working at the time in the reception area. She informed me to tell Morgan, who comes in at 7am and that I could relay the message to Morgan and Morgan would fix everything. The parking app charged me twice to pay, first taking out $13.00 and then $1.00. Then they charged my card too much, stating that my card would not be charged until I checked out. This is not true, the company or bank does charge the card and they charged mine. I was livid!!! I showed Morgan the charge on my phone. She took down my information, like my plate # and then I left and worked out in the gym. Morgan resolved my issue and was so pleasant and kind. Morgan deserves a raise!!!! Also Xandria and Samantha were pleasant when I interacted with them. I had a good experience. There is plenty of parking here in the parking lot plus there are available handicapped spaces. I cannot get used to the fact that now we have to pay to park by scanning a QR code. I have stayed at many hotels and I never had to pay to park at anyone of them. Lanique was another very capable employee who assisted me with my check out experience on Tuesday, April the 21st. Someone informed me that I had to pay for the microwave that was in my room and so I asked the employees that and they said no, that I did not. The room came complete with a microwave, a refrigerator and a TV and a coffee maker. I never use the coffee maker because I do not know the last time that they clean it if ever. There was also an iron and an ironing board in the closet. I had a good experience here. Not happy about the security deposit that they charge everyone and the state tax and the occupancy/tourism tax. State tax is $10.28 and the occupancy tax is $8.22. The room charge was $137.00 per night. A total of $311.00 for 2 nights. I asked for a receipt and I received one. I need to see the prices that I am paying. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, especially for people over the age of 50 years.
