2 months agoI was gobsmacked at how beautiful this hotel is! Our room was comfortable, included a fridge, although no microwave. Loved that there is a handy magnifying hand mirror in the bathroom. Great location for getting anywhere in town. If I still lived in the area, it would be high on my list of conference room sites. Great spaces for breakout groups, and small group socializing. Thank you to Samantha at the front desk who was so gracious, helpful, and friendly.

a month agoMy family and I stayed here due to the loss of our home from a fire. The entire staff was extremely helpful, courteous, accommodating, and professional. Shannon and Aaleeya even went as far as providing our granddaughter with a birthday gift and free ice-cream to us all. The entire staff from the front desk, manager, associates, restaurant staff, and housekeeping, were phenomenal. They treated us with so much compassion and empathy. I would definitely recommend this location if traveling to the Durham/Chapel Hill area.

3 months agoGreat place for holding events such as conferences, training, workshops, etc. Very professional and friendly staff. High-quality common areas to include meeting rooms, ballroom, and dining area. Very high-quality meals served equivalent to an upscale restaurant with a variety of choices. Nice, comfortable rooms that provided a great nights rest. The only negative is parking is NOT free and is paid via phone QR code.

3 months agoLet’s start off with the grounds, they’re very nice, hotel and rooms have everything for a nice stay. The bathrooms were great, best shower I have seen at a standard hotel. The “bistro” and bar are where this places loses it for me. It’s nice to have a place like this on location but the kitchen staff and server/bartenders are unskilled at their positions and inattentive. It should take 40 minutes to get the wrong thing when you are the only person there, it also shouldn’t take 10 minutes for a refill and 10 minutes to get silverware for your meal——while at the bar. You can use new staff or better trained staff in the morning and the evening in the bistro and kitchen.
