a week agoI visited Raj Jewels on February 15, 2026 around 5:30 PM to purchase a payal (anklet). I found one I liked that weighed 13.8 grams. However, I was quoted $220 per piece. When I asked for the price based on weight, they mentioned $12.50 per gram plus taxes. Additionally, they informed me that paying by credit card would incur an extra 3.5% transaction fee, although they also said they accept Zelle. The pricing structure felt unclear and somewhat inconsistent, which made me uncomfortable. The overall interaction was brief (about 10 minutes), and unfortunately, the service did not feel very welcoming. Later, I visited Khanna & Sons Jewelry and had a much better experience. They charged $8.50 per gram, and I purchased 30 grams for a total of $260. Their pricing was transparent, and the overall experience felt more genuine and customer-friendly. I believe transparency and customer service make a big difference when purchasing jewelry, and my experience clearly reflected that.

Both the staff and the owner were extremely patient, taking the time to show us different options and truly listen to our requirements. A special shout‑out to Anupama, who was exceptionally helpful and guided us smoothly through the entire selection process. Highly recommend!
