Just throwing this out there since this may not be the case for other people. I am extremely particular about cleanliness. I got a little freaked out because my comforter had a food stain on it. Of course for me, it sent me on a quest to find another one thru the hallways. I found the room service lady and she gave me one that looked clean but just way too outdated and thin. I was freezing all night because I had tossed the comforter on the floor. In a pinch this place is ok and clean enough. The bathroom was clean, but had a few spackle jobs on the walls. One of the lamps was way too old to be there and looked stained. We had a great experience with Makayla who took us to the airport in the hotel van. She was super sweet and helpful. The bar area looked great but the furniture in the lobby needs to be replaced. I think it’s time guys.

I wish I got her name but unfortunately didn't, the lady at the front desk in the evening is so nice and helpful, she had a smile and kind word for everyone. Hotel itself is nice, clean and updated and location is perfect. The restaurant inside the hotel wasnt good at all we ended up throwing everything but the fries out. The pizza was soaking in sauce, burger had no taste and wings werent cooked fully, server was nice.

Only negative thing was that there was only a restaurant/bar in walking distance…nothing else. The shining star was Mikayla who provided superb customer service.. even driving the shuttle to the airport to pick us up when that was not her job. She was friendly, helpful and exceeded our expectations!

Pros: Nice hotel, clean room(2nd floor maid works VERY hard and does a GREAT job), a/c worked great, COMFY beds. Yummy buffet breakfast at a good price with nice view of river. Dinner menu and drinks are very good prices with awesome bartenders, Tresa and Lauryn... The reception staff was VERY welcoming and continued to greet/converse with me during my stay. They deserve medals for all they put up with. Nice location with restaurant/bar on site and next door. Plenty of parking with good lighting and a LOT of handicap parking. Indoor/outdoor pool. Area around the pool very spacious and comfortable with river view. Would love to stay again in the future. Cons: Security for hallways would DEFINITELY be a plus! Had to call front desk at night due to a disagreement going on in hallway. Rooms are not soundproof at all (bring ear plugs or put bath towel across the huge gap at bottom of the door) you hear ALL noise in hallway and every door slam. Nowhere to wash or sanitize hands before entering breakfast buffet to self serve. People take their own breakfast dishes to trash-restaurant tables are NOT cleaned when people are done, next person unknowingly sits down to dirty table. I told the RUDE DUDE who was taking breakfast vouchers the orange juice was not pouring, he said it was probably clogged up and did nothing to fix it, just kept sitting there. Kids bouncing volleyball and doing quinceanera rehearsal in bar/restaurant area while others are trying to have conversations, watch sports, and have dinner-there is a huge lobby, long empty hallway out front, large areas outside that would be a great area for children to play (maybe section off the CHESS area with glass walls for kids?). Handicap parking not monitored, full of non-handicap vehicles and cars parked in non-parking spot next to handicap(striped area) People smoking cigarettes/marijuana on balconies.

Beware of this Hotel! Booking.com has been emailing and calling for a week and their GM manager won't respond at all and I deserve a response after a solid week of calling booking.com. DO NOT stay here it was supposed to have a kitchenette in it and we didn't even have a microwave, stove, coffee pot or kitchen essentials. I paid $551 for 2 nights and it was bare bones for that much money. I wish David would respond to emails or personally call me
