a month agoI booked two rooms for a quick weekend getaway with my family. As a Marriott associate, I typically don’t like to complain, but my check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk associate with straight black hair (whose name I didn’t catch) was noticeably passive and unwelcoming. I observed her warmly greeting the guests before me, providing them with a detailed rundown of the amenities and even thanking them for being Marriott members. However, when it was my turn, the only information I received was, “The elevators are around the corner.” Later that evening, when my boyfriend inquired about the bar hours, her only response was, “It’s closed.” Overall, I felt that the level of customer service I received did not match what was extended to other guests, which was disheartening.

a month agoThe hotel staff was very courteous, the room was clean and I appreciate Krupali the front desk clerk. She went over and beyond to accommodate us with a handicapped room when it was not in the reservation notes. The gum area was clean and provided sanitary wipes for cleaning machines. I would definitely recommend.

4 weeks agoSTAY AWAY- DO NOT BOOK!!! This was by far the worst hotel I have ever been to. The first room had an overwhelming point smell. The sheets were damp so my son ended up sleeping on top of the bed with a blanket we brought. The room was cold do i tried changing the temperature. That didn't work so I turned it off. That didn't matter because it stayed running all night. Upon waking, I realized the floor was all wet. Everywhere. Puddles had started forming in the corners of the room. All the bags had to be picked up off the floor. We had bags on chairs, desks, and the beds. The beds were damp, pillows were damp. I had three sweatshirts hanging in the closet that were damp. Everything was wet. We had to keep out shoes on. As we were leaving the room, my daughter slipped and fell landing on her knee. I informed the front desk staff and a manager came out. When I told him the room was wet, he just said "must be the humidity." He told me he would comp us and get us a new room. He told us to come back later around checkout for a new room. We returned around 6pm and got a new room key. We moved our stuff to the new room and left to get dinner. When we returned, my son took a shower.he told me the sliding shower door wouldn't stay closed. It wouldn't. All four of us had to take showers with the shower door open because it just kept sliding open. I took a shower last and the floor was all wet. Also, the sliding wooden bathroom door wouldn't stay on the track. It kept coming off if the sliding track which made it difficult to open and close. I was helping my son put the door back on the track and door slammed his finger. It smashed his finger between the door and the wall. I felt so bad. He cried so hard and his finger turned purple. The next morning upon checkout, I informed the front desk staff about the shower door and she said "we have someone going around fixing the shower doors." I'm appalled. Not only were they full aware of the issues in these rooms, they continue to put people in these rooms. The manager did end up taking $89 off the room. He couldn't even give me one free night. I have never stayed at a Four Pounts and I never will again. Please do not stay here. For the price I paid, this shouldn't have happened.

3 months agoTeresa, the Bartender at the Brine Bar is the absolute best. She is very knowledgeable, cordial and professional with all customers and staff of the Hotel. She treats all customers as they are friends from the time you sit down until you leave. I have never experienced any bad service at this location.

a month agoGreat place for business travelers. Nice property at a fair price and the staff are definitely “all in” when it comes to brand pride and customer focus. Specific acknowledgement to Samantha Siewert and David (last name unknown). I stay often and will continue to do so.
