2 months agoOverall, my stay was positive and the location is convenient. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The pillows provided are quite small, and standard-sized pillows would offer greater comfort. At present, the lobby is under construction, which creates noticeable noise during the day. The on-site restaurant and bar are limited in food options, though the bar itself is a pleasant space. Breakfast is serviceable but basic, with standard selections typical of many hotels. Upgrading to a balcony view did not add much value, as there was little to see from the room. In summary, the experience was good overall, but enhancements in dining, amenities, and room comfort would significantly improve the guest experience.

a month agoNote to self, don't bother returning. I have been a loyal HiltonHonors member for as long as I can remember. My husband and I booked this specific hotel last December , after having an exceptional stay there in September/October of 2024. It is our annual long vacation, and we have stayed at this site on numerous trips. Typically with Hilton locations, if there's remodeling going on it is addressed on the website. Somehow this was omitted, although I see it is stated now, since we've returned home. If I knew there was construction going on, we would have stayed somewhere else. We had checked in through the HH app, and when we arrived I went to the front desk to retrieve my breakfast/ drink cards. I had to step over hoses and wires to enter the hotel, only to see all sorts of construction taking place. When I asked at the front desk about what's happening, they said, " oh you didn't know?". I felt betrayed that full disclosure wasn't made prior to our arrival. I asked if there was still concierge services, since that area was closed off, and they said no. We always ate our first dinner onsite because the food was always nicely prepared, and we had looked at the menu on the road and planned our dinner only to be disappointed to see they had a very limited menu & found nothing we were hoping for. The room itself, dated, still with scratched furniture, stains on the carpet, water in the bathroom that took over 5 minutes to get hot, and very uncomfortable bed pillows, I can see why they are remolding. It is well overdue. I think the worst part of our stay was the fire alarm going off at 12:02 am. I have to drug myself to get to sleep, then having to wake up and go down 8 flights of stairs, panicked, and still half asleep. Once outside told after 1/2 an hour someone was smoking in their room, we can go back in. There's one working elevator of three ( I think that probably violates some sort of fire code), we went up the stairs, which, with no cane, and my 3 joint replacements took a bit of a struggle but without a place to sit to wait for the elevator, I didn't have a choice. Back to bed, and the alarm went off again about 45 minutes later. Not to mention it went off again the next day briefly. We did pass a hotel employee in the hall telling us it's a false alarm. We were not amused. The noise level throughout our stay was loud, and attempts to nap late in the afternoon, impossible. We're old, a nap after a long day is usually required. Too many disappointments, not to mention paying $8/ day to park on their lot. I require handicapped parking, and there's 5 spots on the side of the hotel for more than that many people to juggle for. We very seldom left at night to be sure we had one of those spaces. I don't care how nice your place looks in 7 months when all the remodeling is done. We will not be returning to see it. Disgusted and misled, I found this hotel unacceptable.

2 weeks agoThe woman at the front desk literally saved our trip. We had booked an Airbandb but upon arrival we had to leave as no one had cleaned after a huge house party, place was literally trashed. With the dirt nationals in town, the reason for our stay, we had very little options for availability. We called Hilton to book a room but unfortunately booked it at the wrong hotel, one that was an hout away. The woman working your front desk went above and beyond to help us. She not only got us a room that worked for us, 4 hoomans and 2 pups, she and her coworkers called over and over again trying to get our reservation at the other hotel canceled and money back since it was a booking error on their end. I can't express how much pressure and stress this woman removed from my shoulders. She was an angel in a moment of madness. 10/10 will be staying here every year for this trip. No more Airbandb disasters!! I wish I could remember her name to give her the shout out she deserves! She is amazing and I hope she keeps spreading sunshine!

a month agoI was extremely disappointed with my stay at this Hilton property. The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night — once at 12:15 AM and again at 1:45 AM. We were never given any information about what was happening, and no one from the staff told us when it was safe to re-enter the building. We simply followed other guests back inside because there was no communication or direction at all. On top of that, I paid for a specific self-parking space but was never told where it was located. The front desk associate at check-in was indifferent and offered poor customer service, which set the tone for the rest of my stay. To make matters worse, the hotel is undergoing renovations, and the construction noise was constant and disruptive from 9 AM to 6 PM every day. Had I been informed of this before booking, I would have chosen a different hotel entirely. For a Hilton-branded property, this was far below expectations. The hotel itself feels dated and uninviting, with dark and depressing decor. Overall, this was an awful experience from start to finish, and I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

a month agoI guess I’m going to update the pictures considering it hasn’t been updated in 5 years. We specifically booked this hotel because pictures and description say hot tub/ spa. Many guests are upset and cannot believe it’s they walk into the pool area. It is completely gone and front desk is saying it was removed 7 years ago. We also would not have stayed here had we known the entire lobby is under heavy construction and they are literally giving out ear plugs at the front desk as a “complimentary”. Not kidding! The price per night sure did not reflect that when we booked. We love Embassy Suite. Just not this one. The beds, cleanliness of the rooms and service has been exceptional otherwise.
