Dead Broke Farm

I came for my birthday with my husband and our experience was something I’ll never forget. From the moment we got out of our cars everyone was so friendly. We were there for the hour long group ride and it was the quickest hour because it was just so enjoyable and beautiful. Honestly the whole experience was as just so great. The owner is the sweetest woman ever and we got to chat with her for some time. The instructors that helped us throughout the whole process (instructions, getting the horses ready & during the ride) were all so friendly, helpful and constantly checking if anything was needed! Reese was one of the instructors and she was great! I think Rebecca (I’m terrible with names but she was wearing a pink & white tye dye shirt) she was so friendly as well and just made sure everyone was doing okay during the ride! This place isn’t just a place trying to make money. They care about their horses. They care about the guests coming for the experience and they truly do go above and beyond to make the experience one you’ll never forget. My husband rode Dennis and he was so sweet I rode Xena and she was such a pleasure. I can’t wait to go back for the next ride & continue going back!

Yesterday, my husband took our twin 10 year old daughters for a trail ride at Dead Broke Farm and they had a blast! The staff was so friendly and! The briefing they got on how to control the horses was perfect and allowed all three of them to feel in control of the ride. They loved the meandering path through the beautiful forest on Bunny, Harley, and Louise. We're thankful for such an amazing opportunity at an incredible farm! Our family would definitely recommend Dead Broke Farm!

I’ve been riding at Dead Broke Farm for quite a while now, and I can’t recommend it enough. What started as an occasional trail ride has turned into private rides almost every week. Equine therapy in a relaxed, safe environment is priceless. One of the best parts of Dead Broke Farm is the incredible women who work there. Each and every one of them are wonderful. They’re kind, encouraging, hardworking, and truly care about both the horses and the people who come to ride. Their willingness to share their knowledge and help me become a more confident rider is something I deeply appreciate. A special shoutout to Fabio, Igor, and Zena, three of my favorite horses. Each has their own personality, and they’ve all helped make my riding experiences unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place that feels so welcoming and authentic. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’ve been coming for years, you’re treated like family. I’m so grateful to have found this farm and all the amazing people, both two-legged and four-legged, who make it so special. 🐎❤️

Amazing experience! Beautiful trails! Everyone was extremely helpful and nice! The horses handled quite well. Carla was knowledgeable and fun to have on the ride. I took my godchildren here, ages 19, 15, and 13 with only one having some horse experience and the rest being first time riders. I paid a little extra to have a private ride for tge five of us, which was well worth it! Afterwards, on the way home in the car, i asked what they would rate their day...10, 10, 9, and 8. I would add another 10 for my experience! Thank you Dead Broke Farm!

I grew up riding horses myself, and I always dreamt on one days having my boys ride horses. So I got super excited when one of my boys friends recommended this place for summer camp. They have absolutely loved this summer camp. It teaches the boys how to take care of a horse as well as how to write them. In addition, they have so much structured free time that they can spend however they wish around the farm. They can do anything from feeding the horse, playing with, playing with the donkeys, cats, dogs. They have a little overground pool that they can go to in the afternoons. They have a little clubhouse with AC and TV that they can eat in or have some playtime when it’s raining outside the camp counselors are all young ladies that continuously monitor the kids and the horses and make the summer camp such a fun experience for the kids. My boys have already done two weeks at this camp this summer and I am sure they would want to come back next year.
