We serve the South Asian Indian communities in NC, SC, GA, VA, and TN. Our horses are available during the hours of 8am to 8pm and are clothed in traditional Ghori outfits. Their ghori costumes are elaborately decorated in maroon and gold to compliment the groom’s clothing as he rides to the temple on horseback among his friends and family. Our handlers wear Indian style clothing as well. We have beautiful white Percheron horses who have been doing baraats since 2014. They are calm and gentle and accoustomed to the loud and colorful festivities of the baraat. But to ensure the groom’s safety, our horses follow the music, drummer, and the wedding guests. We have a 2-step stool to assist the groom in mounting the horse, which can be seen in some of the photos below of our baraat horses in their wedding costumes along with their handlers. We’ve invested in custom made Ghori costumes and Indian clothing for our handlers to better compliment the wedding photos taken during the baraat procession.

a month agoI had such an amazing experience at Dead Broke Farm! The entire ride was beautiful and peaceful, and the views along the trail were absolutely stunning. It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy nature. I rode a horse named Fabio, and he was so gentle, calm, and easy to ride. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable, especially for someone who just wanted to take in the scenery and have a smooth ride. Courtney was also a fantastic instructor. She was very friendly, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before and during the ride. Her guidance and positive attitude really added to the experience. Overall, it was an incredible time with beautiful views, a wonderful horse, and great staff. I would definitely recommend Dead Broke Farm to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing horseback riding experience!

2 months agoWe had a great time on a trail ride for my daughter’s birthday! It was chilly but we brought gloves and kept toasty. Our guide did a great job and the horses were very well cared for. Highly recommend!

a month agoAbsolutely love Dead Broke Farm me and my girlfriend went on a 1hour private guided ride. The price is excellent for what you get. We had the best experience. Our instructor Cody was very engaging and informative and made the experience very enjoyable. We will be coming back again!!!

6 months agoI took my wife here for our 6th anniversary, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was awesome from beginning to end. Our private guide was knowledgeable and kind. The horses were gorgeous. I’d recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll definitely be going back.
