a month agoRaleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley was the venue for our wedding weekend. Not only did they host 4 events, but they also hosted our guests, many who travelled to Raleigh from all over. Vanessa and Leah were a pleasure to work with! They worked closely with us and our vendors to make sure that every detail was carefully planned out. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff is so sweet! The venue ballrooms were spacious, and they easily accommodated our guest count. We would highly recommend them to host your next event or just for a place to stay when you’re visiting Raleigh.

in the last weekI used to stay here all the time. I stopped because the rooms were never properly cleaned. For the price, you can go to the Hilton property across the street. They have a restaurant too. The menu here is terrible. Bar staff inattentive . I watched both Bartenders lean up against the bar not serving anyone while I sat for OVER TWENTY MINUTES TO GET SERVED. I just got up and walked away. I will not be staying here and I will not give this hotel another dime. I’m mortified the way I’ve been treated. Staff should never ignore patrons. I’m a I just got up and walked away. I will not be staying here and I will not give this hotel another dime. I’m mortified the way I’ve been treated. Staff should never ignore patrons. I’m an ambassador mind you. Out of all the Marriotts I could choose from I chose wrong. I will never state this property again. I guess I’m gonna have to work on my Hilton status.Bathroom in the room was gross and old. The rooms are like shoe boxes. The AC and Refrigerator in the room was so noisy you can’t sleep. The breakfast staff is very slow, and it’s always cold. Again not much has changed. Also one wash cloth in my room for a 1 week stay!! The depression is over. Could you spare the wash clothes for what you charge?!?!?!!!

4 weeks agoI thought the property and room were nice... I slept well. The problem comes in with the horrible breakfast. They charged $43 for a cold mess of a breakfast. The eggs were just a giant cake of frothy orange stuff... not scrambled... just some eggs in a jug thing... yuck. I don't think the warmers were on because everything was barely over room temperature. The coffee was the furthest thing from Starbucks... I've had better at gas stations. Terrible, this breakfast made me feel sick all morning. Room 348 sockets by the bed did not work... and were loose. To top off the negative bit... they charge an extra $10 for parking in an open lot! That was such a shady add-on... it makes me question my Marriott loyalty. Next time, I think I'm going to look for another place or be sure to eat breakfast somewhere else.

a week agoWhen we arrived at the Hotel they charged us more than the agreed price. Told us it would come off at checkout which it hasn’t yet!! The rooms were just a hit and a miss only thing clean was the shower doors and sink top. The bed was so hard that it felt like sleeping on a futon mattress. The iron didn’t work and hair dryer had a short in the cord it came and went. The next morning we had a meeting in the Capital room which by all means was nice until I went into the bathroom. It looked as if it was a porta potty at an outdoor concert along with the broken beer bottle in the floor in the men’s bathroom!! The meeting room was so cold that you needed a blanket and the staff said it was locked and could do anything about it.This was our first stay at this facility and we certainly won’t stay there again !!!!

3 months agoI stay in a lot of Marriott properties, and this property is one of the best. I have visited this property numerous times this year. The hotel is older, but it is well maintained except for the elevator. The elevators do need some work. One doesn’t work, so when events are scheduled, the wait times for an elevator can be long. Despite that minor issue, the staff of the hotel is wonderful, especially the staff in the Concierge Lounge. Jim(evenings) and Troy(mornings) are wonderful hosts. They both do an excellent job taking care of the guests. They both go out of their way to make sure the guests feel welcome. The food selections in the Concierge Lounge are always well prepared and delicious. The hotel is located directly across the street from Crabtree Mall, an easy walk with additional dining options. But why leave the hotel, when there is such a great restaurant onsite.
