2 months ago*4/5 stars* Food quality is good with fresh flavors across the board. Menu has great variety for both veg and non-veg, plus different spice levels for everyone. Vegetarian platter and goat curry were delicious — both stood out. Atmosphere and setting are nice, but it gets a bit too dark at night so reading the menu is a struggle. Service was good, staff attentive and prompt.

3 months agoBlue Taj was one of the best Indian foods I’ve had out of state. Everything was season to perfection. The drink was very good and balanced. Even the appetizer was a great pallet starter. I definitely would go back and try something new on the menu. I recommend this place 10 out of 10.

5 months agoLooking for place for intimate dinner, date night or birthday dinner The blue Taj restaurant can accommodate the team is amazing it was our first time enjoining Indian cuisine our server Raelynn M was awesome knew the menu very well was able to guide though 4 different menu which included wine, menu, red and white wine and champagne by the cup or the bottle not much champagne options it had to suck though French wine, Italy wine the carbonate wine was very good. The atmosphere was delight, cozy minimal noise where you can have a conversation service is very attentional to our needs which help to pick their you dishes and wine choices The price was right everything was $25 or less for entrées which great prices everything wad shareable you get full quick i also make sure you pick right level of spices which range 1-5 we choose 3 which was Perfect you can still taste the flavors with every dish. We try the fried cauliflower.which was very good their sauces was delicious nothing dry on the mouth it was definitely a 10|10!experience locations perfect if you staying at the Marriott it’s a 1 minute walk plenty for parking but a little tight if you have a large truck

3 months agoThe food and ambiance was perfect. Authentic Indian cuisine at its best. Well seasoned and food was hot. Food was not overly spicy but you could taste the rich spices.

4 months agoI have been coming here for YEARS. Actually moved to Charleston for a short time and came back once a month and ordered to go food to take back with me to Charleston. I live back in Charlotte now and it’s still just as amazing. Have not found food better, I have tried other restaurants and still nothing can top this amazing food. I have also never had one bad experience!!!
