a week agostayed for 2 nights, enjoyed our stay a lot, very nice hotel, all in great condition, new, and clean, very good size room and bathroom. Bathroom can have more hooks for towels, otherwise is perfect. Beautiful area, ample parking. very friendly staff, comfortable beds and our room was very quiet. minor "irritations" - parking fee is $12 extra per night - no free water bottles on check-in or in the room. - during our stay there was some girls sport competition in the area, and looked like many teams stayed in the hotel. Lobby was usually occupied by those groups and it was quite noisy in the lobby. upstairs, at least on our floor, was quiet Overall: we enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay there again.

a month agoDo not stay here. My friends and I had an extremely disappointing experience that falls far below Marriott’s usual standards. My friend had a continuous reservation but was forced to move rooms in the middle of his stay, even after staff confirmed that morning he could remain in his original room. Later that same day, he was told to move out immediately with no notice. Even worse, a staff member unlocked his suite without checking his identity or doing any kind of security verification. That’s a serious breach of privacy and safety. The hotel tried to brush it off by offering a complimentary breakfast (described by the front desk manager as “the very least we can do”) which really sums up the lack of accountability. When I brought this up with the manager Jiquan, he shrugged it off and said my friend should email him directly since he “can’t discuss matters about other guests.” Ridiculous response to a serious situation. To make things worse, this hotel is constantly out of basic items like water bottles, and tried charging me for the slippers that are complementary in every Marriott hotel. By far the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel of this price. This whole experience showed an alarming lack of communication, care, and basic security procedures.

3 weeks agoThe rooms aren’t anything extraordinary- they’re comfortable and clean. The location is great, it’s quiet, and the property is nice. My favorite thing, though, is the service. Every time I go, the staff is great and really helpful. I had an issue before my trip that had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. We stay here every time we are in Raleigh.

a month agoWhen we got there they didn’t have the room we booked (2 Queens) available for us, then put us into a room where my friends had to sleep on the couch. We had a busy weekend being part of the bridal party for the wedding so the next morning we asked if we could stay for the time being, which they agreed to. I then finally find time for a nap. however when I get back my key card doesn’t work and they let me into that room without verifying who i am or id. (Safety/security issue). I then receive a call saying I have to come down right away and am told I need to pack up all my friends stuff and move to another room asap, ruining my nap and making me go through my friends stuff. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I didn’t find the time to return for a little bit. They then don’t offer me anything for the hardships they put me through. I ask for breakfast as I was tired, but that definitely was not enough. I booked a hotel for a smooth easy experience and got the opposite. Definitely would not recommend.

a month agoTLDR: It appears that someone on staff stole a couple of my packages. Before I arrived to stay for a week, my wife called in and asked if we could have several packages shipped there (since I was coming in from out of country). The person she talked to confirmed it was fine and that any packages received would be kept in a "secure closet". A couple of my packages which were verified to have been delivered "went missing" and were never found. What's more, it's obvious that one of the packages which should have contained two pairs of shoes was opened and one of the pairs was taken. I was able to locate the other pair which was just sitting in it's shoebox indicating it had been removed from the shipping box. It's also clear that there was no "secure closet". There was a closet next to the front desk that was left wide open and other packages were just left in a short hall behind the front counter. Any level of staff or people having access to that area could take things. The staff did try to help me find my packages and we were able to locate most of them, but if they were unable to secure my items they should have just told us that instead of me having to go back to the desk multiple times to try and find my shipments and clearly having some of them stolen. Ultimately they just threw up their hands and said "sorry I guess you're out of luck on those". This represents a couple hundred dollars of losses for me.
