Nazara Indian Bistro

I recently visited Nazara, an Indian restaurant I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The ambiance and decor were pleasant, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the food was very underwhelming, which was disappointing for a place with such potential. The vegetables were undercooked, and the meat and shrimp were hard and overcooked, making them tough to enjoy. The grilled items were burned, lacking the proper preparation expected from an Indian restaurant. Moreover, most flavors were bland with pure chili flavor, missing the vibrant and aromatic spices typically associated with Indian cuisine. Given the variety of Indian restaurants in the area, there are certainly better options to explore. Nazara needs to make significant improvements in their cooking techniques and flavor profiles to compete effectively.

Amazing food! Great ambience and excellent service. The food at this restaurant is simply the best in my opinion, the taste and flavor of the food is hands down the best. We are regulars at this restaurant and find ourselves eating there at least once a week. Raj and Shivani both are amazing and simply provide the best service. If u need drinks Raj is the man. Thanks to Shivani and the owner for bringing kheer dessert (Rice Pudding) to their menu after our request, that tells you how much they care about their customers and their experience. We will always be a customer at their restaurant.

This is a good place to hang out. Customer service is top notch. They checked us many times like how we are doing and they made sure we have enough water,utensils. They recommended menu as well when it comes to veggie options. They have unique varieties of appetizers. Price is reasonable. Our fav ones are veggie Shashlik,kurkure Bhindi, Gobi manchurian is nice. The way they present the food is impressive. Side dish like rice also they took care and made sure it is fresh. Veggie curries Corn Malai methi, paneer tikka masala’s aroma is nice. Overall it’s a very good experience…. Last but not least Ambience is top notch. Will visit again. Forgot that lady name but she greeted and treated well.

I get it why this place is so highly raved about. I have eaten at Nazara pretty often over the last 5 years and the quality of food, service, and ambiance has remained the same, excellent! I would take anyone who wants to be introduced to Indian food here first. The spices are more toned down but the curries here still have great subtle flavors. Everything I’ve tried so far, I liked. The chaats are great, gobi Manchurian is well presented and has nice mix of Manchurian spices, and my favorite vegetarian appetizer is the paneer shashlik that comes in on a sizzler pan. I also loved their chicken tandoori and some other seafood starters. Would highly recommend the garlic shrimp. The entree menu has some unique dishes from the North India. I always order the sarso ka saag and it is delicious. This time we had Dal Makhani, Malai Kofta, and Goan curry. We ordered naan on the side and it was really nice and soft. One complain I’ve always had with the food here is that it is too oily or there’s too much ghee in it (which could be cultural because this is North Indian cuisine). But that is really not a dealbreaker as it doesn’t compromise taste. Must visit!

I recently held a party in the private room and Nazara exceeded every expectation!! Our host Raj, stole the show, with his excellent service, recommendations, and attentiveness. He helped guide those with dietary restrictions and made sure even the kids were well taken care of. As far as the food, every single dish we ordered was excellent, and we ordered quite a few appetizers and entrees!! Raj was spot on with what we wanted, and we even tried a couple things we normally wouldn’t have that we really enjoyed. We are pretty particular with Indian food, but found Nazara to have great flavors, good portions, and just the right amount of spice. It was a very memorable night, and I highly recommend this place and will surely be back!! If you can get Raj to host your next event, you will definitely have a fabulous time too!
