a month agoLocated in cary prime area, Nukkad is a good indian street food spot. We tried a lot of times as dine-in & delivery with most of the items, no complaints yet. Today we ordered Sweet Corn Soup, Samosa Chat, Chicken Momos & Masala Chai. Most of the items served quickly, items were good in flavor & taste. Most importantly food served with hot & fresh. Ample space for dine-in customers with decent vibes. They serve food & we can self serve plates, utensils & to-go boxes as we need. Staffs are Calm & Helpful. Jan 18th, 2026

2 months agoNothing great about the food overall. We the tried Nukkad non-veg thali along with garlic naan. The good part was that the staff advised us the thali could be shared, which we appreciated, but the chicken items were disappointing and we mostly relied on the veg dishes. The overall experience wasn’t very pleasant, though we may return to try vegetarian options instead.

3 months agoI ask for 4 dish with lentil soup or a dish with lentils I'm not sure what the name of it is this is excuse me just being a silly American and don't know what the name of this is but I've had my fair share of Indian restaurants and how they always give you generous portions lunch menu will me and my partner live literally one block away from this restaurant and he's new to Indian food where I'm still learning the name of my favorite dishes and what they call them but yet I was suggested to get either black or yellow so I chose yellow. I'm vegan so it's very important that I pay attention to my vitamin D and my protein levels so this is why I chose this dish but lo and behold very highly disappointed it's very bland to be Indian food and I'm a type of lady that can take Indian homemade Mama's Kitchen hot spice and this had zero spice it tasted as though they just made it and none of the spices Blended in it was soft well cooked lentils with lint news that definitely needed another 35 to 45 minutes to cook. I spent $14.95 for a meal that any other restaurant would have gave me the large size especially being at his dinner time but I literally got a pint $14.95 there is not one Indian restaurant I have been through from Durham to DC that has charged me have charged me $14.95 for a pint of any main dish then I go to read the reviews is talking about how the portions are too small and seriously overpriced just because we live on High house here in Cary that does not mean we on the high horse. I don't to be seriously price gouge and giving me small portions of seriously not well seasoned Indian food. I will not be returning we will not be returning. My partner just paid $3 more lamb biryani and it was well portioned out and season too.

6 months agoThe pani puri and the behl puri were just some of the items on their vast menu. The owner kindly explained some options when asked. Early lunch on a Saturday, pretty quiet till about 1pm when the lunch crowd rolled in. We got the falooda, it was cold but not as sweet as I thought it'd be. Will definitely return to try indian-chinese items - smelled so good.
