About
Located in historic downtown Cary along the railroad tracks, Chatham Station is the Triangle’s newest, premier industrial chic venue. Chatham Station features 4,500 square feet of open meeting and event space with seven functioning glass garage doors that allow for an entire wall of natural lighting. With exposed bricks, natural wood elements, metallic accents, a skylight, and tons of warm, natural light, we like to think of ourselves as industrial with a touch of glam!
Facilities and Capacity Details
Chatham Station is committed to being a space where clients enjoy stress-free days. We believe clients should walk in, enjoy, and walk out without participating in the grunt work involved in creating a meaningful day. For that reason, a “day of” event coordinator is required for weddings, but clients may select a professional event coordinator of their choice as long as the coordinators meet Chatham Station’s requirements.
Our clients enjoy 10 hours of exclusive venue access, the professionalism and flexibility of our staff, the inclusion of guest tables and chairs, a bar piece, a custom ceremony backdrop and two dressing suites. Businesses and organizations, in particular, enjoy the ease of planning offered by attentive customer service, convenient location, and flexible pricing.
Hello Hello
a week agoWe hosted a book tour event at Chatham Station in Cary and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The space was absolutely stunning—on a perfect fall evening, the natural light pouring into the venue made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting. With more than 250 people in attendance, there was still plenty of room for guests to mingle comfortably between the indoor and outdoor areas, which created a seamless flow throughout the night. The staff helped everything run smoothly, from the hors d’oeuvres to the wine and cocktails, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. One feature we especially appreciated as a family was the availability of waiting rooms—having a private space for our four kids to hang out made the night that much easier for us to enjoy. Chatham Station truly delivered in every way. It’s a beautiful, versatile venue with thoughtful amenities, and we’re so grateful to have hosted such a memorable evening here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect spot for a special event.

a month agoWe recently hosted our daughter’s half saree function at Chatham Station, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The hall comfortably accommodated around 200 guests, which was just right for our celebration. It has a warm and inviting vibe that works beautifully for Indian-style functions, with ample space for traditional ceremonies, stage setup, and dining. The location is very convenient and easy for guests to reach. The ambience struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, and the staff was incredibly professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Our guests loved the venue, and we’ll definitely consider it for future events!

4 months agoAs a wedding photographer in the area, I’ve photographed weddings at Chatham Station quite a few times over the years - it’s a beautiful industrial-chic wedding venue in the heart of Downtown Cary. Conveniently located to all of the hotels, bars, and restaurants in Downtown, Chatham Station is a beautiful place to host your wedding/event. There building has beautiful, exposed brick with natural light pouring in through the garage doors. The space is large and versatile, with many options for ceremony/reception. There’s an outdoor courtyard which is perfect for photos and cocktail hour to take place. There are two getting ready suites onsite for the wedding party and every time I’ve photographed at this venue, the wedding photos turn out stunning. I highly recommend Chatham Station if you’re searching for a wedding venue near Cary, NC!

4 months agoA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 Stars – A Seamless, Beautiful Reception Experience at Chatham Station My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Chatham Station in Cary, North Carolina, following our Catholic ceremony at our church—and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, stress-free, and truly enjoyable. From the moment we signed our contract, communication was excellent. Jon, the venue owner, was incredibly responsive and accommodating—always easy to reach by phone, text, or email. He made us feel confident and supported from day one. We were also assigned a dedicated venue manager, Isabel (who goes by Bella), and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I met with her in person twice—once to walk through the venue and once to show the space to our bridal party. She was always quick to answer emails, flexible with scheduling, and helped ensure every detail was in place. Chatham Station itself is a stunning space with so many customizable options. The venue provides helpful software where you can create a personalized floor plan—including table and chair arrangements and activity zones. The indoor area is spacious, beautifully lit, and air-conditioned, with a perfect dance floor that our guests absolutely loved. There are two lounge areas we used for the bridal party and groomsmen, along with two full, private restrooms. The outdoor patio—complete with string lights—was magical in the evening and offered the flexibility of open or closed garage doors depending on the weather. During the event, the on-site coordinator, Melody (or Melanie), was fantastic. She was professional, approachable, and blended in perfectly with our guests—dressed elegantly and ready to help with anything we needed. Choosing Chatham Station was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It’s a beautiful, modern venue with an amazing team behind it. Highly, highly recommend!

a month agoOpen model, plenty of natural sun light, wide open garage like door, warm tungsten lights, high ceiling and great for weddings. Plenty of seating arrangement options.. Pros - closer to cary downtown. Cons - if your wedding or event is in the evening, make sure to have enogh drapes covering the sunlight as it could spoil the stage. Not good for photography.
