2 months agoOur favorite restaurant in Raleigh! Delicious every time, friendly staff, great bar and drink selection, and dog-friendly outdoor patio. Must try if you haven't already! We bring all of our out of town guests to Azitra. Our favorite dish is the Crab Masala - they can make it non-spicy but it really shines when ordered medium or above spice level. Also great are the Ghobi Manchurian, Chicken Hariyali Lazzatdar, Chili Garlic Naan, and Lamb Kozhambu. Their outdoor patio is well shaded for the summer and has tables with built-in fire pits, perfect for when it starts to get cooler. You can also sit at their bar where they have a few TVs. I've read a few 4 star reviews citing the price, but I feel they are on par with similar caliber restaurants in the area.

7 months agoI ordered a 3 spice level for my vegetable biryani. Instant regret, it was too spicy. Had good service and the food was flavorful, just the wrong spice level. Portion size was smallish for the price. Would come again on a special occasion. The vibes were very upscale!

5 months agoAzitra is my favorite restaurant in the Raleigh/Durham area, and I will never pass up an opportunity to eat here. The range of options is incredible, and they will customize the heat level for you. I also really enjoy the deep wine list. I look forward to the day when I make it big and can try a glass of DRC. The staff are very attentive and handle food allergies very well. I've eaten here many times with coworkers, one of whom has an allium sensitivity. The manager said the kitchen could make some dishes for him special by removing the onions and garlic. Really nice of them.

2 months agoOur waiter was named Raul and he was so great! He was very helpful with all our questions and kept checking in on us! Service was 10/10 and they even brought over a birthday cake for my dad at the end! What an amazing experience! Would definitely recommend it!

2 years agoWe stopped here for lunch on a Sunday around 1pm. We didn't wait more than 5min before getting seated and drunk orders. The staff was super friendly and took great care of us. We had a few kids under 7yr that were also with us and they had options available. The food was great. I remember trying the Chicken Tikka Marsala & Peppercorn Mango Lamb but we ate family style and I tried many different things. It was great. If you like Indian food this is a great place. I'd expect to pay $45‐$50 per person including tips. Enjoy! We all liked it a lot.
